The Unknown Mask
The Unknown Mask – an interdisciplinary performance of light, sound, and movement – with composer, Mark Sullivan, movement artists, Jeff Glassman and Lisa Fay, and video artist, Shari Baker. Through video, still images, sound and theatre, The Unknown Mask reflects on the role of the mask in creating who we are and want to be, and what kind of communities we live in. The work explores connections between past and present, looking at masks and masking as symbols of change in ourselves and in the world – change we desire, and change we do not.
The performance – The Unknown Mask – launched “MASK: Secrets and Revelation” exhibition at MSU Museum, USA, 17 February 2010.
